5 years back, we started with vision to make diamond jewellery accessible for everyone and today that path has led us to becoming a recognized and trusted Lab Grown Diamond Jewellery in India. Celebrating 5 fabulous years of Maiora Diamonds is more than just an anniversary it’s proof of our hard work, dedication and purpose towards our vision. This journey has been shaped by challenges and growth but above all by the trust and genuine support of our customers across the countries whose faith in us made it all worthwhile. Celebrating Maiora Diamonds 5th anniversary is a great milestone for us.

2018 Planting the Seed of a New Idea  

It started with a simple idea in the year of 2018, at a time when lab grown diamond jewellery was still a new and unfamiliar concept in India. Instead of seeing this as a limitation, we saw it as an opportunity a chance to introduce a new generation of diamonds to everyone. From the very beginning, our goal was clear to raise awareness about lab grown diamonds and highlight the its benefits especially their positive impact on the environment. 

We educated and empowered consumer by providing the fact of beautiful and cutting-edge innovation of lab grown diamond jewellery through free workshop offline and online. These information became helpful to make inform decision while purchasing 1st lab grown diamond jewellery to all our customers. Choosing lab grown diamond jewellery is not just a style statement; it’s a step toward a more responsible, ethical, and eco-conscious future. 

Our Experiential Center and Digital Leap in 2020 

In 2020, we launched our Experiential Center a space where consumers could see, feel, and experience the beauty of lab grown diamond jewellery firsthand along with our website to expand our reach. With this milestone, we proudly became Gujarat’s first and pioneering brand in lab grown diamond jewellery. That year became the foundation of our mission: to make luxury eco-friendly and ethical diamond jewellery accessible to everyone.  

This boutique was more than simply a shop it was a place where visitors could enter with curiosity and leave with assurance. Many people arrived with doubt but left smiling after seeing that lab grown diamonds were just as classic and beautiful as the diamonds they 
had always seen. 

We launched our website with solitaire diamond jewellery to reach more people at the same time as there was growing global shift toward digital convenience. This allowed customers across India to explore our beautiful solitaire diamond jewellery collections, book video consultations and free consultation to learn more about lab grown diamonds. 

The combination of a physical experiential center and an online website and other platforms has added more value in what we wanted to do, expanding our reach globally and allowing us to build strong presence of Maiora Diamonds while forming deeper more meaningful connections with our customers. 

Global Expansion: A Journey of Trust, Quality and Growth  

We were among the first brands in India to design and create lab grown diamond jewellery specifically for consumers. However our vision was never limited to just one country. Our aimed to share the sparkle of Maiora Diamonds for everyone across globally  from the beginning.   

To bring this dream to life, we began exporting our jewellery to multiple countries. These past two years have been crucial in that journey not only did we reach new customers, but we also began earning their trust. 

Visitors from around the world have started coming to our Experiential Center to see, feel, and understand what makes Maiora Diamonds jewellery unique. These visits have helped us build strong, long term relationships with international customers who value quality, innovation and ethical choices. Many return for new pieces and even more special, they recommend us to their loved ones. This organic word-of-mouth has been one of our proudest achievements in both domestic and International market. 

Challenges That Shaped Us 

Challenges are a part of every journey and learnings for the growth of organization so it was same for Maiora Diamonds. In the early years, the toughest one was breaking the myths around lab grown diamond jewellery. Many people believed they were “fake” or "artificial" so we have happily explain every consumer about it's fact to aware them with right information like lab grown diamond jewellery are 100% real diamonds and have same DNA of mined diamonds so the only difference is that they’re grown in a lab instead of being mined from the earth with the high quality of diamonds without paying a premium for real diamond jewellery. 

Another challenge was building trust in a traditional market. In India, jewellery is not just an accessory it’s an emotional investment and often a family legacy. Convincing people to trust and invest in something completely new took time, patience and a lot of education was required.  

Building a business around lab grown diamond jewellery came with its own set of challenges. Our founder, Priti Sheth & Falak Sheth had to train team to adopt a new mindset for an entirely unfamiliar product, set up seamless systems to integrate our offline and online operations, find reliable supply chains and carefully manage operational costs. They approached every challenge with determination, the right mindset and strong leadership, supported by a skilled and dedicated team. 

Every doubt we addressed, every design we created with care and every piece of feedback we received shaped our journey. The growing number of five-star Google reviews and heartfelt responses from our customers confirmed one thing: we were on the right path.

The Pride Behind Our Progress

One of the proudest moments in our 5 years of journey was when customers from across cities began traveling to our Experience Center in Surat  after discovering Maiora Diamonds online or hearing about us through word of mouth.
